Are My Wishlists Good?

Enter how many days your Coming Soon page has been live, its wishlist count and, optionally, its store page visits. See your weekly pace, your visit-to-wishlist rate against the site's published benchmark band, and the gap to each named launch-wishlist tier.

Tier sources: 50,000 is Chris Zukowski's Gold launch tier (How To Market A Game benchmarks, updated June 2026, no sample size published). 15,000, 150,000 and 500,000 are our working assumption, not published figures. Valve publishes no wishlist target at all: its Steamworks wishlist documentation answers "is there a minimum number of wishlists" with "No". Both sources checked 2026-09-15.

From the Wishlists tab in Steamworks. Paste it with its separators. We strip them.

From Steamworks "Marketing & Visibility" -> "Store Page Traffic," same period as your wishlist count.

Enter how many days your page has been live and its current wishlist count to see your benchmark. Store page visits are optional and add your visit-to-wishlist rate.

Visit-to-wishlist rate

Add your store page visits above (Steamworks "Marketing & Visibility" then "Store Page Traffic") to see how your visit-to-wishlist rate compares to the published band. Method in our store page conversion benchmarks post.

Aggregated Steamworks traffic screenshots shared by developers, plus our own store page reviews. No published sample size, as of March 2026. Steam Page Conversion Rate: 8-12% Is Median

What this assumes

Pace: your wishlist count divided evenly across every day the page has been live. A launch bump, a Next Fest slot or a quiet stretch will all move the real week-to-week rate away from this average.

Weeks to close a tier: the gap divided by your current weekly pace, assuming that pace holds. It will not, in either direction: treat it as a floor, not a forecast.

Thresholds: the same indie, successful, hit and viral wishlist tiers used in the wishlist calculator, not a new set invented for this page.

Three related tools, three different questions: this one grades the wishlists you already have; the wishlist calculator turns a revenue goal into a wishlist target; the wishlist velocity projector projects your current pace forward to a launch date.

Wishlists depend on the page visitors land on. Check yours.
