  • IP address and approximate location

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services

4. Information Sharing

  • With service providers who assist in operating our platform (e.g., Stripe for payments, Supabase for data storage, Anthropic for AI-powered analysis)

When you submit a game for analysis, publicly available Steam store data (such as game descriptions, screenshots metadata, tags, and reviews) is sent to Anthropic for AI-powered processing. This data is used solely to generate your analysis report.

5. Public Leaderboard

If you choose to make your game analysis public, your game's name, Steam App ID, and analysis scores will be visible on our public leaderboard. You can toggle this visibility at any time from your dashboard.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect and track information about your browsing activities. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • Correction of inaccurate data

9. Third-Party Services

Our service integrates with third-party services including Steam (for fetching public game data), Stripe (for payment processing), Supabase (for data storage), and Anthropic (for AI-powered analysis via the Claude API). Each of these services has their own privacy policies.

10. AI/ML Training

Customer-submitted data and generated analysis reports are NOT used to train, fine-tune, or otherwise improve AI/ML models. Data sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for analysis is processed under their commercial API terms, which do not permit use of API inputs or outputs for model training.

We do not use your game data, analysis results, or any other customer content for the purpose of developing or improving machine learning models, whether our own or those of third parties.

11. Data Retention

We retain your data according to the following schedule:

  • Analysis reports and results are stored until you delete them or your account is deleted
  • Account information is retained for the duration of your account and deleted upon account closure
  • Usage logs (page visits, feature usage) are retained for 90 days
  • Payment records are retained as required by applicable tax and financial regulations
  • IP-based rate limiting data is automatically purged after 24 hours

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at privacy@steampageanalyzer.com or by deleting your account from the dashboard.

12. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
