Which Steam Next Fest should you enter?
Tell us your planned release date, or the quarter you are aiming for, and this names the last Next Fest edition on the calendar Valve publishes that finishes before you launch. A title only gets one entry, ever, so the edition matters.
Then paste an App ID or store page URL. This reads the facts Steam itself publishes about that page, demo, video, screenshot count, short description length, release timing and languages, and prints each one beside the same figure for the demo pages already measured. It is public store facts against one dated cohort, and it is not a score. Nothing here reads the words or images on your page, nothing is ranked, and no number here describes quality.
Which fest should you enter?
A title may only participate in one Next Fest, ever, so this is worth getting right before you register for one.
- Titles "may only participate in ONE Next Fest."
- Your game "will not be released before the applicable Next Fest edition concludes."
- Your game "will include a publicly playable demo by the time Next Fest begins."
Steamworks partner documentation, read September 19, 2026.
Then check your page against the demos already in the fest.
Compared with 137 unreleased demo pages captured on 14 September 2026. Source: consented unreleased pages with a demo.
Passing this check is not the same as a good store page. Run the same page through the full analyzer for what to fix next.
